The Bloody Ox Cocktail
Bloody Ox Cocktail

Think of the Bloody Ox Cocktail as the ‘beefed’-up,  handsome brother of the well known bloody Mary.

Essentially a bloody Mary with added oomf and determination, creating an even deeper richer taste.

Naturally the bloody Mary is in rich in Vitamin C, and we all know what happens when she meets collagen…

That said, the bloody Ox recipe calls for all of the same ingredients one would normally use for a bloody Mary. The only difference is you’ll be adding bone broth to the mix, – and all the way down to your bones!

The Bloody Ox Cocktail:

  • 120ml tomato juice
  • 120ml Freed Bone Broth
  • 60 ml vodka (optional)
  • 120
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 dash of Tabasco
  • Celery stalk and lemon wedges for garnishing

Instructions

    1. Fill a glass with ice cubes, crushed is nice!
    2. Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and give it a good shake.
    3. Pour over ice. Garnish with a celery stalk, and a lemon wedge.
    4. Cheers to that!
